Cubic Advances Integrated Training Capabilities
Worldwide implementation of innovative training solutions to be highlighted at I/ITSEC
ORLANDO, Florida - December 1, 2008 -- Cubic (NYSE: CUB), a global leader in combat training, will showcase its recent advancements in integrated solutions for joint, coalition and urban training during this year's during the Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) from Dec. 1-4 in Orlando.
Cubic Defense Applications, Inc., the company's defense systems business, will display its new products and system integration capabilities in Booth #2301. Cubic is taking training to the next level by integrating tactical data from existing battlefield assets into a live, virtual and constructive (LVC) environment. The LVC-T capability provides for greater situational awareness and enhanced realism while utilizing existing assets. Cubic's deployable and distributed training systems and solutions have been field tested throughout the world. Through recent innovation efforts, Cubic's systems also provide for a dual use capability for First Responder situational awareness during training and actual emergency situations.
Cubic Mission Support Services, comprising Cubic Applications, Inc., Cubic Worldwide Technical Services, Inc., and Omega Training Group, Inc., will spotlight key customers, capabilities and programs in Booth #4109. The booth will highlight eight operating divisions: Operations Support, based in Hampton, Virginia; Training and Education, based in Leavenworth, Kansas; Worldwide Technical Services and Information Operations, based in San Diego; Threat Technologies and Defense Modernization, based in Kingstowne, Virginia; JRTC Mission Support, based in Fort Polk, Louisiana, and the Omega Training division, based in Columbus, Georgia.
